At home in Nigeria, my parents are involved in the campus’s philantrophic organization where, one household cooks food for children at a local orphange every week. I went along with my mother one day, and the scene there moved me. I’ve never been in such a place before and got to see the flip side of humanity where loneliness is an everyday word. These children don’t know their parents, and are unlikely to ever get adopted.

Thanks Laura. Seeing the flip side shows me how lucky I am. I can not imagine what they have to go through all their life..
