This week, Cat introduced us to Nigel Lithgoe, Mary Murphy and Brian Friedman as our judges. Then, the dance performances started. This week, each dancer performed with every other dancer.
Heidi and Travis performed a disco routine choreographed by Doriana Sanchez to “Shake Your Groove Thing.” The judges really liked it.
Donyelle and Benji danced the Viennese Waltz choreographed by Jean-Marc Genereux and set to “I’ll Be.” The judges were disappointed.
Next, Cat showed a clip of the dancers going to see “Step Up.”
Heidi was the first to perform her solo. She danced to “Rie y Llora.”
Benji and Travis danced hip-hop choreographed by Shane Sparks to “Gyrate.” The judges were impressed.
Donyelle performed her solo next to “Human.”
Travis danced solo to “Konstantine.”
Next, Heidi and Donyelle performed broadway style choreographed by Tyce Di Oro and set to “Big Spender.” The judges were less than thrilled with the performance.
Benji performed his solo to “The House is Rockin’.”
Donyelle and Travis danced contemporary choreographed by Mia Michels to “Georgia on My Mind.” The judges were impressed.
Heidi and Benji performed a salsa dance choreographed by Alex da Silva set to “Le Comaz.” The judges thought it was sensational.
The evening closed with the entire group dancing pop choreographed by Wade Robson to “SexyBack.”
Afterwards, voting was opened up to the audience.
